From my series PLANES, which started in 2023 in rural Kansas during my Prairieside residency program. This was an opportunity to experience and meditate upon the subtle but important ecosystem I was raised in, and respond to it with the production of visual art.

This small painting is done on a cradled birch panel, which has a ⅞” depth and natural wood edges.
